Compañeros y Compañeras reciban un cordial saludo. Muy buenas tardes a todos, y Feliz Día de la Mujer a todas las Compañeras presentes hoy.
Es un placer y un honor para mí estar aquí presente. Quiero expresarles que, en representación de Yutong, estamos complacidos de poder seguir siendo parte del crecimiento y desarrollo del transporte público en Nicaragua apoyando a su Pueblo.
Formamos parte de esta visión del Gobierno desde el año 2023 y estamos agradecidos de haber sido elegidos para este desarrollo tan importante. Yutong es un Socio en este reto y prueba de ello es nuestro interés y compromiso de acompañarlos en todo el proceso.
Desde el inicio de nuestra colaboración, hemos introducido varios lotes de buses, con un total de 2,000 Unidades en Nicaragua. Yutong acompaña a los nicaragüenses en su desarrollo.
Agradecemos al Compañero Comandante Daniel Ortega y a la Compañera Rosario Murillo la oportunidad de contribuir a la modernización del transporte público nicaragüense, que ahora no sólo está presente en Managua, Ciudad Sandino y Tipitapa, sino que también se expandirá a otros territorios, como Chinandega, Carazo, Masaya, León, Matagalpa, Estelí, Jinotega, Boaco (…)
Además, es un orgullo fortalecer los lazos de amistad entre nuestros Pueblos, expandiendo nuevos horizontes para el crecimiento del transporte y la importante industria de turismo, promoviendo acceso a los bellos parajes de Bluefields y Bilwi.
Estamos trabajando y avanzando juntos para ofrecer nuevos productos de Yutong en el futuro. Nuestro Equipo está comprometido, viviendo y trabajando aquí, para brindar el mayor apoyo posible al Pueblo nicaragüense, y garantizar el acompañamiento durante todo el ciclo de vida de nuestros productos.
Por último, deseo sinceramente, que la calidad de la vida del Pueblo nicaragüense siga mejorando cada día. Muchas gracias a todos.

Buenas tarde. De ante mano, Feliz Día a todas las Mujeres nicaragüenses. Feliz Día, Compañera Copresidenta Rosario Murillo. Buenas tarde apreciado Comandante Daniel Ortega; buenas tardes, Compañeros y Amigos Representantes del País de China; buenas tardes a todos.
En este Día Especial, 8 de Marzo, cuando celebramos una fecha importante, conmemoramos la lucha que libraron las Mujeres por la Igualdad de sus Derechos; de igual manera, celebramos la Fuerza, Resiliencia y Pasión de cada Mujer.
Las Mujeres Transportistas queremos rendir un Homenaje Especial a una Mujer Ejemplar, cuya Visión, Liderazgo y Amor por su Pueblo, ha sido Faro de Esperanza y Transformación. Ella és, nuestra Compañera Copresidenta Rosario Murillo.
Su compromiso con la Justicia Social, su incansable labor por la Paz y el Bienestar de la Familia ha sido fundamental para la construcción de una Nicaragua Digna y Soberana.
Gracias, Compañera, por restituir nuestros Derechos y vigilar que la participación de la Mujer en cada rubro sea respetada y tratada con Dignidad.
También queremos expresar nuestro más profundo agradecimiento a nuestro Comandante Daniel Ortega por no olvidarse de nosotras, por reconocer nuestra valentía. Gracias por su compromiso y respaldo a las Transportista, su Liderazgo y Visión ha sido clave para el fortalecimiento de nuestra labor, garantizando estabilidad, mejores condiciones y oportunidad para quienes día a día movilizamos nuestro País. Gracias por aumentar la participación del Género Femenino y cada día empoderarnos más en nuestro rol.

Muchas Mujeres hoy tenemos la oportunidad de cambiar y mejorar nuestras Unidades de Buses y así poder brindar un mejor servicio a nuestros usuarios, demostrando que la participación de la Mujer en el Sector Transporte es fundamental para el desarrollo de nuestra Nación.
Mujeres Transportistas, sigamos caminando juntas con Esperanza, Fuerza y Compromiso inquebrantable de seguir transformando nuestra linda Nicaragua, inspirando en nuestra valentía y administración, determinación y Amor.
Sigamos construyendo un Futuro donde cada Mujer pueda brillar con luz propia, sin límites ni barreras.
En nombre de todas estas Mujeres, Fuertes, Valientes, Trabajadoras y empoderadas, reiteramos nuestro agradecimiento a nuestro Buen Gobierno y a nuestros Hermanos de China por confiar en nosotras.

en Nicaragua
Muchas gracias al Comandante-Co Presidente Daniel Ortega, de la República de Nicaragua; a la Co Presidenta Rosario Murillo; al Compañero Laureano Ortega; al Compañero Fidel Moreno, y a todos ustedes por su gentileza de invitarme una vez más, a mí y a mis colegas, a asistir al Acto de Entrega de Vehículos Yutong a las Cooperativas nicaragüenses.
Esta ha sido la quinta vez que participo en el Acto de Entrega de Vehículos chinos a Nicaragua.
Ante todo, quería saludar al Pueblo nicaragüense por la recién publicación de la Constitución
de la República de Nicaragua, aprobada por unanimidad por los Legisladores de la Asamblea Nacional de Nicaragua. Una Constitución Revolucionaria y Democrática, una Constitución que fortalece y consolida aún más los Derechos de Educación, de Salud, de su Seguridad, de Bienestar y de todos los Derechos que le asiste al Honorable Pueblo nicaragüense.
También quiero saludar al Co Presidente Daniel Ortega, a la Co Presidenta Rosario Murillo, por su gran responsabilidad y su compromiso, su empeño de dirigir al Pueblo nicaragüense a un Futuro más brillante.
Claro, tampoco puedo dejar de saludar a ustedes, los Transportistas nicaragüenses, por los éxitos que han podido conseguir, de mejorar los medios de transporte, apoyado por el Gobierno Sandinista dirigido por l@s Co Presidentes, para que ustedes puedan, con toda su voluntad, con toda su profesionalidad, mejorar el servicio de transporte al Pueblo nicaragüense, y que el Pueblo nicaragüense pueda disfrutar un mejor servicio de transporte, que ha sido un medio de transporte muy importante para que el País, el Pueblo pueda lograr un desarrollo mejor.
A lo largo de los tres años de nuestras relaciones diplomáticas entre China y Nicaragua, guiados por los mismos Ideales de desarrollar a nuestros Países y beneficiar a nuestros Pueblos.
Todos los Proyectos que vienen desarrollando, tanto por el Gobierno chino, como por las Empresas chinas, en este caso la Empresas Yutong y muchas otras, son guiados, orientados al Sector Social, como la Educación, la Salud, el Transporte, la Vivienda, la Seguridad, la Ciencia y Tecnología, y muchas otras, que vienen fortaleciendo unas perspectivas cada día más amplias, para el desarrollo y el bienestar del Pueblo nicaragüenses.
Hace unas dos semanas asistí al Acto del Lanzamiento del Programa SINAREM, Sistema Nacional de Respuestas a Emergencias, un Proyecto también muy importante para proteger al Pueblo nicaragüense. Ese es un Proyecto que también manifiesta la importancia de la Seguridad, tanto Humana como Material del Pueblo nicaragüense, en la labor del Gobierno nicaragüense, pues Nicaragua es, geográfica y climáticamente un País vulnerable al desastre.
El Gobierno dirigido por el Comandante Daniel Ortega y la Compañera Rosario Murillo en sus últimos 18 años del Gobierno Sandinista han logrado grandes éxitos, porque a través de la presentación de los Compañeros de SINAPRED he podido conocer algo: Todo ese empeño, esos sacrificios, esos trabajos, del Gobierno nicaragüense para mitigar, para prevenir el desastre natural que siempre se somete por esta situación geográfica, climática, especial en Nicaragua.
Pero realmente el Ser Humano no tiene cómo enfrentar solamente con las dos manos, tenemos que recurrir a la tecnología, y China, siendo un País también inmenso y vulnerable a los desastres naturales, también estamos enfrentando tifones, terremotos, inundaciones, etc., y gracias a la dirigencia del Partido Comunista de China, del Gobierno chino, y esfuerzos del Pueblo chino, de los técnicos, hemos podido desarrollar unas experiencias, unas tecnologías muy eficientes, avanzadas, para enfrentar todas esas situaciones de emergencia.
Y queríamos compartir esas experiencias, esas tecnologías chinas, con el Pueblo nicaragüense, para que luchemos juntos contra toda esa situación de emergencia, todos esos desastres naturales; para que nuestros Pueblos puedan disfrutar de una Vida, de una tranquilidad, de una seguridad, cada día más.
Eso es nada más un ejemplo más reciente, y tengo muchos otros ejemplos de esos Proyectos, de esas Cooperaciones con la parte nicaragüense. Próximamente, en la semana que viene, y gracias a la invitación del Compañero Laureano, voy a asistir a otro Acto de Inauguración de una Planta Eólica, de una Planta que también va a brindar un apoyo importante al desarrollo, a la producción y a la Vida de nuestro Hermano Pueblo nicaragüense.
En fin, China tiene la voluntad de trabajar, junto con nuestros Hermanos nicaragüenses, para desarrollar muchos otros Proyectos, sobre todo Proyectos dedicados al Sector Social, para que el Pueblo nicaragüense pueda disfrutar de los beneficios de nuestra Amistad, de nuestra Hermandad.
No quiero hablar mucho, todos vienen conociendo esa Voluntad, esa Amistad, del Pueblo chino, del Gobierno chino, de trabajar junto con nuestros Compañeros, nuestros Hermanos nicaragüenses.
Para terminar, también quiero aprovechar esta ocasión para saludar con todo cariño y afecto a la Heroica y Gloriosa Mujer Nicaragüense, representada por la Co Presidenta Rosario Murillo.
También nuestro gran Homenaje, gran Admiración a la Mujer nicaragüense, por su infinita e inmensa contribución a la Revolución Nicaragüense, a la Revolución Sandinista, y también al desarrollo y a la producción de Nicaragua, a la Felicidad Familiar de todo el Pueblo nicaragüense.

Buenas tardes, queridas e invaluables Mujeres de estas Tierras Heroicas, de este Pueblo Heroico de Darío y de Sandino. Felicidades a todas.
Hoy, en el Día que fue surgiendo hace ya unos cuantos años, a inicios del Siglo pasado, estaban las luchas de las Mujeres, y sobre todo, donde más se desarrollaba la economía, más industria, más obreros, no se le abría espacios a las Mujeres. Era el Sistema Capitalista imponiendo sus reglas, donde incluso discriminaban a la Mujer.
Y fue precisamente una Mujer, Clara Zetkin, quien en el año 1910 en una Conferencia, que era una Conferencia de Mujeres Socialistas, allá en Copenhague, y ahí ella propuso y se aprobó la Celebración del Día de la Mujer Trabajadora, porque era cuanto más se marginaba y se explotaba a las Mujeres Trabajadoras. Y ya en el siguiente año, en el mes de Marzo se dio la Primera Conmemoración, que se realizó el 19 de Marzo del año 1911.
¡Una larga lucha! ¡Una larga lucha! Más de un siglo de lucha. Y luego vendría la lucha, no solamente por los Derechos al Trabajo, sino por los Derechos a tener igual Respeto e iguales Derechos que los Hombres.
Una lucha que hemos venido librando aquí en Nicaragua también, para derrotar y eliminar, extirpar, de nuestra Patria, las manifestaciones de machismo, que incluso en algunos casos llegan a provocar dolor, tragedia, en algunas Familias.
Y ahí, luchando por la Paz y la Seguridad del Pueblo nicaragüense, está incorporado el Derecho de la Mujer, y está también consignado en las Leyes, que, cuando se cometen agresiones y crímenes contra Mujeres Trabajadoras, Mujeres Abnegadas, entonces, la pena máxima va para los que cometen este tipo de crímenes.
Yo diría que ahí tenemos un reto. Hemos avanzado mucho, es cierto, como hemos avanzado mucho en la lucha contra la Pobreza, pero todavía tenemos que lograr erradicar cualquier manifestación de Extrema Pobreza en nuestro País.
Y en medio de estas batallas, de estas luchas, la Juventud que viene formándose, que viene librando también esta lucha, que ha levantado la Bandera de los Derechos de las Mujeres, se convierte en una Fuerza determinante, para que en estos próximos años logremos erradicar, exterminar, las manifestaciones de agresión, de machismo, en contra de las Mujeres nicaragüenses, tanto en la Ciudad como en el Campo.
¡La Juventud es la Fuerza determinante! Tenemos una Juventud que se ha forjado al calor de las batallas que hemos librado a lo largo de estos años; al calor de las batallas que han vanguardizado los Transportistas, defendiendo los Derechos de la Mujer, defendiendo los Derechos del Pueblo. Y estas batallas son las que determinaron y crearon las condiciones para que se lograra, finalmente, hacer realidad el sueño de los Héroes, desde los Héroes que enfrentaron a los Conquistadores españoles.
Los Caciques Nicarao, Diriangén y el Cacique Chontal, los Caciques de Occidente, que supieron enfrentar, resistir y derrotar, al inicio de la Conquista lograron derrotar a los Conquistadores que venían con, utilizando como arma, manipulando la Cruz, y acompañada de la Espada, y asesinando a nuestros Antepasados Indígenas. Porque, como decía Sandino y también Darío, tenemos una mezcla de sangre, somos Mestizos y nos sentimos orgullosos que en ese mestizaje
fluya también, y en primer lugar, la Sangre Indígena que corre por nuestras venas.
Y hoy, en Homenaje a las Mujeres nicaragüenses, desde las Niñas, hasta las Tatarabuelas, todas son Mujeres Heroicas, Mujeres Valientes, estamos realizando este Acto aquí en la Rotonda del Comandante Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.
Hace unos pocos días, el 5, conmemoramos el 12 Aniversario de su Partida en el Tránsito hacia la Inmortalidad, pero él está aquí presente y lo recordamos bien cómo se vinculaba con el Pueblo nicaragüense.
Y recuerdo, querido Embajador, que, en las ocasiones en que conversaba con el Comandante Hugo Chávez, me decía: Bueno, ¿y cuándo…? Nos están esperando los Hermanos de la República Popular China. Y él le tenía un Amor a la República Popular China, como el que le tenemos también nosotros.
Pero, desgraciadamente, cuando llegaron los Gobiernos Neoliberales rompieron las relaciones con la República Popular China, y pasaron tres Gobiernos Neoliberales. Y tuvimos que regresar nosotros al Gobierno, lograr una mayoría en el Congreso, en la Asamblea Nacional, para finalmente hacer realidad el sueño del Comandante Chávez.
Y le podemos decir: Aquí estamos, unidos como Hermanos, con la República Popular China, con el Pueblo Chino, con el Partido Comunista Chino, y nos sentimos orgullosos de esa Unidad, que es una Unidad donde, bien lo sabemos, que ese Pueblo Heroico de China hizo una Revolución extraordinaria encabezada por Mao Tse-Tung, y que viene a darle continuidad y nuevos brillos el Presidente Xi Jinping.
O sea, la Revolución en China no se ha detenido, la Revolución en China continúa, y se proyecta ahora al Mundo como una Revolución que lleva la Paz, que lleva el Bienestar, que lleva la Solidaridad a los Pueblos, y no lleva Sanciones, ni lleva amenazas, ni lleva guerras. Es una Revolución de Paz, la Revolución que encabeza el Partido Comunista Chino.
O sea, la Revolución en China no se ha detenido, la Revolución en China continúa, y se proyecta ahora al Mundo como una Revolución que lleva la Paz, que lleva el Bienestar, que lleva la Solidaridad a los Pueblos, y no lleva Sanciones, ni lleva amenazas, ni lleva guerras. Es una Revolución de Paz, la Revolución que encabeza el Partido Comunista chino.
Cuánto agradecemos la Cooperación que nos están brindando en todos los campos, ahora el Embajador hablaba cómo ellos nos pueden aportar en lo que es la batalla contra lo que se conoce como el Cambio Climático y todo lo que ello trae; tomando en cuenta que ellos enfrentan todos los años todo tipo de catástrofes, pero saben enfrentarlas, tienen organización, tienen voluntad, tienen recursos.
Y nosotros, lógicamente, agradecemos la disposición del Embajador, y vamos, claro, a unirnos también en la batalla, para que cuando se presenten fenómenos que afectan a nuestro Pueblo, ya los conocemos, desde los terremotos, las inundaciones, los huracanes, que fortalezcamos nuestro Sistemas de Defensa y ahí va a ser determinante el aporte de los Hermanos de la República Popular China. Así es que, bienvenido Hermano. Gracias.
Hoy, estamos entregando al Pueblo nicaragüense 500 autobuses más, lo que viene a ser ya un total de una flota de 2,000 Unidades de Buses. Es decir, el aporte de la República Popular China, en el campo del transporte, ha sido sostenido, y sostenido con una gran certeza, con un gran Espíritu Solidario.
Esto, lógicamente, alegra a nuestro Pueblo, alegra también a los habitantes de las zonas más alejadas, en la Región del Caribe, en el Caribe Norte, en el Caribe Sur, porque ya se empiezan a movilizar Unidades en esas zonas donde antes no caminaban vehículos como estos.
Y quiero decirle a nuestro querido Embajador de la República Popular China, el Compañero Chen Xi, que lo agradece el Pueblo nicaragüense. Le damos las gracias en nombre de este Pueblo, en nombre de los Transportistas. Gracias. Le damos las gracias al Pueblo, al Gobierno chino, al Presidente Xi Jinping, al Partido Comunista chino. ¡Somos Pueblos Hermanos!
China hoy está librando batallas y luchas para llevarles Bienestar a los Pueblos en África, en Asia, en América Latina. Y los Imperialistas de la Tierra no quieren eso, porque ellos están acostumbrados a llevarles guerras a los Pueblos de la Tierra; están acostumbrados a ocupar y colonizar, convertir en Colonias a los Pueblos de África, de Asia y de América Latina.
En cambio, la moral, el Espíritu Revolucionario del Pueblo Chino, constantemente lo está repitiendo el Presidente: Estamos para la Paz. Y no quieren ver los Imperialistas, no quieren ver participación de la República Popular China en ningún País de América Latina, ni de África, ni de Asia, ni del Caribe.
Pero, a pesar de la actitud de los Imperialistas, sancionando a los Países que han venido estableciendo relaciones con la República Popular China, cada día son más los Países que establecen relaciones, y son más los Países que se benefician con esas relaciones. Porque hay una actitud que tiene que ver con un Principio Revolucionario que es la Solidaridad, que es un Principio Cristiano: Trata a tu Hermano como a ti mismo.
Y aquí tenemos nosotros, en nuestra Constitución decimos: Nicaragua, Cristiana, Socialista, Solidaria y, gracias Hermanos de la República Popular China por tener esa práctica en la que coincidimos totalmente.
Estoy viendo un buen contingente de Mujeres que están presentes este día y que seguramente, más de una de ustedes va a conducir uno de estos buses. Hay otras Compañeras que andan manejando también taxis. O sea, las Mujeres se han incorporado en la actividad del transporte, algo que parecía increíble hace unos años.
Y bueno, aquí tenemos este regalo, este regalo de Dios Nuestro Señor, que nos ha llevado a establecer estas relaciones con la República Popular China, que significa Progreso, Bienestar, Lucha contra la pobreza, y mejor transporte para el Pueblo nicaragüense.
¡Que Viva la República Popular China!

It is a pleasure and an honor for me to be present here. On behalf of Yutong, I want to express to you our pleasure at being able to continue as part of the growth and development of public transport in Nicaragua by supporting its People.
We have been part of this vision of the Government since 2023 and we are grateful to have been chosen for this important development. Yutong is a partner in this challenge and proof of this is our interest and commitment to accompany you throughout the process.

Good afternoon. First of all, a very happy Day to all Nicaraguan Women. I wish you a joyful Day, Compañera Co-president Rosario Murillo. Good afternoon, beloved Comandante Daniel Ortega; good afternoon, Compañeras, Compañeros and Friends, Representatives of the country of China; good afternoon to everyone.
On this Special Day, March 8th when we celebrate this important date, we commemorate the struggle that Women waged for Equal Rights; and likewise, we celebrate the Strength, Resilience and Passion of every Woman.
We Women Transport Workers want to pay a Special Tribute to an Exemplary Woman, whose Vision, Leadership and Love for her People, has been a Beacon of Hope and Transformation. This is, our Compañera Co-president Rosario Murillo.
Her commitment to Social Justice, her tireless work for Peace and the Well-being of the Family has been fundamental for the construction of our dignified and Sovereign Nicaragua.
Thank you, Compañera, for restoring our Rights and ensuring that women’s participation in every field is respected and treated with dignity.
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our Comandante Daniel Ortega for not forgetting about us, for recognizing our courage. Thank you for your commitment and support to the Transport sector, your Leadership and Vision has been key to strengthening our work, guaranteeing stability, better conditions and opportunities for those of us who make possible the mobilization our Country every day. Thank you for increasing the participation of our Female Gender and empowering us more in our role every day.
Thanks to our Good Government which today makes us Protagonists of this beautiful Project, namely the delivery of new Units of Chinese Buses.
Many of us Women today have the opportunity to change and improve our Buses and thus be able to provide a better service to our users, demonstrating that the participation of women in the Transport Sector is fundamental for the development of our Nation.

Chen Xi
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China
in Nicaragua
Many thanks to Comandante-Co-President Daniel Ortega of the Republic of Nicaragua, to Co-President Rosario Murillo, to Compañero Laureano Ortega, to Compañero Fidel Moreno, and to all of you for your kindness in inviting me and my colleagues once again to attend this Ceremony delivering Yutong Vehicles to the Nicaraguan Cooperatives.
This is the fifth time I have participated in the handover of Chinese vehicles to Nicaragua.
First of all, I wanted to salute the Nicaraguan people for the recent publication of the Constitution of the Republic of Nicaragua, unanimously approved by the Legislators of the National Assembly of Nicaragua. A Revolutionary and Democratic Constitution, a Constitution that strengthens and further consolidates the Rights of Education, Health, Security, Well-being and all the Rights that assist the Honorable Nicaraguan People.
I also want to salute Co-President Daniel Ortega, Co-President Rosario Murillo, for their great responsibility and commitment, their determination to lead the Nicaraguan people to a brighter future.
Of course, I also cannot fail to salute you, the Nicaraguan Transport Workers, for the successes you have been able to achieve, to improve the means of transport, supported by the Sandinista Government led by your Co-Presidents, so that you can, with all your goodwill, with all your professionalism, improve the transport service to the Nicaraguan people, so that the Nicaraguan people can enjoy better bus services, which has been a very important means of transport for the Country, the People, to achieve a better development.
Throughout the three years of diplomatic relations between China and Nicaragua, we have been guided by the same Ideals of developing our Countries and benefiting our Peoples.
All the Projects that have been developed, both by the Chinese Government and by Chinese Companies, in this case the Yutong Company and many others, are guided, oriented to the Social Sector, such as Education, Health, Transport, Housing, Security, Science and Technology, among many others, which have been strengthening and broadening their perspectives every day, for the development and well-being of the Nicaraguan people.
About two weeks ago I attended the Launch Event of the SINAREM Program, the National Emergency Response System, a project that is also very important to protect the Nicaraguan people. This is a Project which also shows the importance of the Security, both Human and Material of the Nicaraguan People, for the work of the Nicaraguan Government, because Nicaragua is, geographically and climatically, a country vulnerable to disaster.
The Government led by Comandante Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo has achieved great successes over the last 18 years of the Sandinista Government, I say so because through the presentation of the Compañeros and Compañeras of SINAPRED I have been able to learn something: namely, all the effort, all those sacrifices, those works, of the Nicaraguan Government to mitigate, to prevent natural disasters to which Nicaragua is always subject as a result of its special geographical and climatic situation.
But really Human Beings now do not have to face this with just their bare hands, we can now resort to technology, and China is an immense country but also vulnerable to natural disasters, we too face typhoons, earthquakes, floods, and so on but thanks to the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Government, and the efforts of the Chinese People, of the technicians, we have been able to develop some experiences, some very efficient, advanced technologies, to face all those emergency situations.
And we have wanted to share those experiences, those Chinese technologies, with the Nicaraguan people, so that we can fight together against all those emergency situations, all those natural disasters; so that our Peoples can enjoy Life in tranquility, in security, more and more every day.
This is just a more recent example, bit I have many other examples of these Projects, of these examples of cooperation with our Nicaraguan partners. Soon, next week, and thanks to the invitation of Compañero Laureano, I will attend another Inauguration Ceremony of a Wind Power Plant, a Plant that will also provide important support to the development, production and life of our Brothers and Sisters of the Nicaraguan People.
And to sum up, China is willing to work together with our Nicaraguan Brothers and Sisters to develop many other Projects, especially Projects dedicated to the Social Sector, so that the Nicaraguan people can enjoy the benefits of our Friendship, of our Brother and Sisterhood.
I don’t want to talk too much, everyone has come to know the Good Will, the Friendship, of the Chinese People, of the Chinese Government, working together with our Compañeros and Compañeros, our Nicaraguan Sisters and Brothers.
To conclude, I also want to take this opportunity to greet with all affection and endearment the Heroic and Glorious Nicaraguan Woman, represented by Co-President Rosario Murillo.
Also our great Tribute, our great admiration for the Nicaraguan Woman, for her infinite and immense contribution to the Nicaraguan Revolution, to the Sandinista Revolution, and also to the development and production of Nicaragua, to the Family Joyfulness of the entire Nicaraguan people.

Good afternoon, beloved, invaluable Women of these Heroic Lands, of this Heroic People of Darío and Sandino. Congratulations to all of you.
Today, on this Day that came to be recognized some years ago, at the beginning of the last century, there were the struggles of women, and above all, where the economy was developing the most, with more industry needing more workers, no spaces were opened for women. It was the Capitalist System imposing its rules, where they even discriminated against women.
And it was precisely a Woman, Clara Zetkin, who in 1910 at a Conference, which was a Conference of Socialist Women, in Copenhagen, and there she proposed and approved the Celebration of Working Women’s Day, because it was mainly Working Women who were marginalized and exploited. And very soon, the following year, in the month of March, the First Commemoration took place, which was held on March 19th 1911.
A long struggle! A long struggle! More than a century of struggle. And then the struggle would develop, not only for the Right to Work, but for the Right to have equal Respect and equal Rights with Men.
A struggle that we have been waging here in Nicaragua as well, to defeat and eliminate, to extirpate, from our Nation, the manifestations of machismo, which in some cases result in causing pain, even tragedy in some Families.
And there, fighting for the Peace and Security of the Nicaraguan People, the Right of Women was incorporated, and has also been enshrined in the Laws, that when aggression and crimes are committed against Working Women, Self-sacrificing Women, then the maximum penalty goes to those who commit this type of crimes.
I would say that we still have a challenge there. We have made great progress, it is true, as we have made great progress in the fight against poverty, but we have yet to eradicate all the manifestations of Extreme Poverty in our Country.
And in the midst of these battles, of these struggles, the Youth who have been forming, who have also been waging this struggle, who have raised up the Banner of Women’s Rights, becomes a determining Force, so that in these next few years we will be able to eradicate, exterminate, the manifestations of aggression, of machismo, against Nicaraguan women, both in urban areas and in rural areas too.
Youth is the determining force! We have a Youth that has been forged in the heat of the battles that we have fought over these years; in the heat of the battles that the Transport workers have led, defending the Rights of Women, defending the Rights of the People. And these battles are the ones that determined and created the conditions for the dream of the Heroes to finally come true, from the time of the Heroes who confronted the Spanish Conquistadors.
The Caciques Nicarao, Diriangén and the Cacique Chontal, the Caciques of the West, who knew how to confront, resist and defeat, at the beginning of the Conquest managed to defeat the Conquistadors who came with, manipulating, using as a weapon, the symbol of the Cross, accompanied by the Sword, and murdering our Indigenous Ancestors. Because, as Sandino and Darío also said, we have a mixture of blood, we are Mestizos and we are proud that this miscegenation also flows, and first of all, the Indigenous Blood that runs through our veins.
And today, in tribute to the Nicaraguan Women, from very young girls, to the great-great-grandmothers, they are all Heroic Women, Courageous Women, and we are carrying out this Event here in the Roundabout of Comandante Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.
A few days ago, on March 5th, we commemorated the 12th Anniversary of his Departure on the Journey to Immortality, but he is present here with us and we remember him well for how he connected with the Nicaraguan people.
And I remember, dear Ambassador, that on the occasions when I would talk with Comandante Hugo Chávez, he would say to me: Well, and when…? The Brothers of the People’s Republic of China are waiting for us. And he loved the People’s Republic of China, like the love we have too have for China.
But, unfortunately, when the neoliberal governments arrived, they broke our relations with the People’s Republic of China, and three neoliberal Governments passed. And we had to return to the government and achieve a majority in Congress, in the National Assembly, to finally make Comandante Chávez’s dream come true.
And we can tell you: Here we are, united as Brothers and Sisters, with the People’s Republic of China, with the Chinese People, with the Chinese Communist Party, and we are proud of that Unity, which is a Unity in which, we well know, the Heroic People of China made an extraordinary Revolution led by Mao Tse-Tung, one to which President Xi Jinping has come giving it continuity and new brilliance.
That is, the Revolution in China has not stopped, the Revolution in China continues, and now offers itself to the World as a Revolution bringing Peace, bringing Well-being, bringing Solidarity to the Peoples, it does not carry Sanctions, nor does it carry threats, nor does it carry wars. It is a Revolution of Peace, the Revolution led by the Chinese Communist Party.
We very much appreciate the Cooperation they are offering us in all fields, just now the Ambassador was talking about how they can support us in the battle against what is known as Climate Change and everything that it brings; taking into account that they too face all kinds of catastrophes every year, but they know how to face them, they have organization, they have the will, they have the resources.
And we, of course, appreciate the willingness of the Ambassador, and we will, of course, also join in the battle, so that when phenomena that affect our People occur, and we already are familiar with them, from earthquakes to floods and hurricanes, that we strengthen our Defense Systems and in that regard the contribution of the Brothers and Sisters of the People’s Republic of China will be decisive. So, welcome brother. Thank you.
Today, we are delivering 500 more buses to the Nicaraguan people, which now makes a total fleet of 2,000 Buses. That is to say, the contribution of the People’s Republic of China, in the field of transport, has been sustained, and sustained with great certainty, with a great Spirit of Solidarity.
This, of course, makes our People happy, and also makes the inhabitants of even the most remote areas happy, in the Caribbean Region, in the Northern Caribbean, in the Southern Caribbean, because buses are now beginning to mobilize in areas where vehicles like these did not operate before.
And I want to tell our beloved Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Compañero Chen Xi, that the Nicaraguan people are grateful. We thank you on behalf of our People, on behalf of the Transport Operators. Thank you. We thank the Chinese people, the Chinese government, President Xi Jinping, the Chinese Communist Party. We Are Fraternal Peoples!
China today is waging battles and struggles to bring well-being to the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America. But the Imperialists of the Earth do not want this, because they are used to waging wars on the Peoples of the Earth; they are used to occupying and colonizing, turning the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America into Colonies.
By contrast, the morality, the Revolutionary Spirit of the Chinese People, is constantly being repeated by the President: We are for Peace. But the Imperialists do not want to see the participation of the People’s Republic of China in any country in Latin America, or in Africa, or in Asia, or in the Caribbean.
However, despite the attitude of the Imperialists, imposing sanctions against Countries that have established relations with the People’s Republic of China, every day more and more Countries are establishing those relations, and more and more Countries are benefiting from these relations. Because there is an attitude that has to do with the Revolutionary Principle of Solidarity, which is a Christian Principle: Treat your Brothers and Sisters as yourself.
And here we, in our Constitution we say: Nicaragua is Christian, Socialist and Solidarity-inspired so, thank you Brothers and Sisters of the People’s Republic of China for having that practice with which we totally agree.
I see a strong contingent of Women present this day and that surely, several of those among you are going to be driving one of these buses. There are also other compañeras who drive taxis. In other words, women have joined the transport activity, something that would have seemed incredible a few years ago.
And so, here we have this gift, this gift from Our Lord God , which has led us to establish these relations with the People’s Republic of China, relations which mean Progress, Well-being, the Combat against poverty, and better transportation for the Nicaraguan people.
