Nicaragua reafirma su compromiso con la defensa del pueblo palestino en la Corte Internacional de Justicia

MANAGUA – NICARAGUA / El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional informó este lunes 28 de abril que el proceso judicial incoado por Nicaragua ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ) contra Alemania, por las violaciones de los derechos del Pueblo Palestino, continuará su curso tras la autorización otorgada por el Órgano Judicial.

El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional informa al Pueblo de Nicaragua y a la Comunidad Internacional que en seguimiento a la solicitud de Nicaragua para continuar con el proceso judicial en contra de Alemania incoado ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia por las violaciones de los Derechos del Pueblo Palestino, el Órgano Judicial ha decidido autorizar que el caso continúe su proceso. En ese sentido, Nicaragua estará presentando su Memoria ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia según lo previsto para este año en seguimiento al curso normal del proceso.

En lo que respecta al caso incoado por la República de Sudáfrica en contra del Estado de Israel por la Aplicación de la Convención para la Prevención y Sanción del Delito de Genocidio en la Franja de Gaza, Nicaragua también continuará su colaboración y participación en el proceso en defensa de los derechos del Pueblo Palestino.

Nicaragua persistirá en el respaldo al Pueblo y Estado Palestino en todos los ámbitos a su alcance y no cejará en cumplir con sus obligaciones internacionales en defensa del Hermano Pueblo Palestino y del Derecho Internacional.

El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional reafirma su firme compromiso con el Estado de Derecho a Nivel Internacional y la solución pacífica de controversias entre Estados.

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity informs the People of Nicaragua and the International Community that following Nicaragua’s request to continue with the judicial process against Germany initiated before the International Court of Justice for violations of the Rights of the Palestinian People, the Judicial Body has decided to authorize the case to proceed. In that regard, Nicaragua will be submitting its Report to the International Court of Justice as scheduled this year by way of follow-up to the normal course of the trial.

With regard to the case initiated by the Republic of South Africa against the State of Israel for the Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip, Nicaragua will also continue its collaboration and participation in the trial in defense of the rights of the Palestinian People.

Nicaragua will persist in its support for the People and State of Palestine in all the areas within its reach and will not cease to meet its international obligations in defense of the Fraternal Palestinian People and of International Law.

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity reaffirms its steadfast commitment to the rule of law at the International level and the peaceful settlement of disputes between States.
