NICARAGUA / Este miércoles 9 de abril, el Gobierno de Nicaragua envió un mensaje donde reitera su compromiso con la soberanía, exigiendo el respeto a la igualdad soberana de los estados, el derecho a la autodeterminación, la integridad territorial y la no intervención en los asuntos internos de cada país.

Hermanos Ministros, Ministras y Jefes de Delegación.
Permítanme transmitir los Saludos Fraternos y el Cariño del Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra y la Compañera Rosario Murillo Zambrana, Co Presidentes de la República de Nicaragua, así como del Pueblo y el Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional.
Agradecemos a la Hermana República de Honduras por su labor al frente de la CELAC durante este año.
La CELAC viene de un largo camino, tratando de construir una visión de unidad, de entendimiento, de ser un espacio que aborda los apremiantes temas que afectan nuestros pueblos con valentía y dignidad.
Recordamos que la CELAC tiene unos principios básicos, construidos a través de los años. Principios fundamentales sobre los que la región viene construyendo acuerdos.
Fuimos testigos del dedicado esfuerzo de la PPT por tratar de acomodar, de armonizar las formas, como si este fuese un problema de formas, cuando es un problema de posicionamiento político.
Por eso queremos dejar clara nuestras posiciones en este espacio:
Nicaragua continúa exigiendo el respeto a la igualdad soberana de los estados, el derecho a la autodeterminación, la integridad territorial y la no intervención en los asuntos internos de cada país.
Reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con la defensa de la soberanía y el derecho de todo estado a definir su institucionalidad y marco normativo, libre de amenazas, agresiones, de medidas coercitivas unilaterales.
Expresamos nuestra invariable y creciente solidaridad con el Hermano Pueblo y Gobierno Bolivariano de Venezuela que sufre los embates de las crueles, constantes e inhumanas agresiones del imperialismo, incluyendo las medidas coercitivas unilaterales, que últimamente son más frecuentes y evidentes, en contra de ese valiente pueblo.
Coincidimos con la legítima exigencia del Gobierno Bolivariano de Venezuela por el retorno seguro de los Hermanos venezolanos migrantes. Expresamos nuestra solidaridad con los familiares de todos los Hermanos migrantes secuestrados y encarcelados, negándoles todos sus Derechos y exigimos su retorno inmediato a Venezuela.
Condenamos con fuerza la criminalización de nuestros hermanos migrantes, así como el indigno y bochornoso trato que están recibiendo.
Reiteramos nuestra exigencia de poner fin al bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero contra la Hermana República de Cuba y el rechazo a listas y certificaciones unilaterales o la inclusión en listas de supuestos patrocinadores de terrorismo.
Desde la CELAC debemos reconocer y expresar nuestra invariable solidaridad con el Pueblo de Palestina y su derecho inalienable de tener un estado libre y soberano. En estos meses está expresión de solidaridad se hace aún más urgente por el continuo genocidio en su contra.
Seguimos expresando nuestro reconocimiento a la genuina demanda de nuestros Pueblos Caribeños para reparaciones por los horrendos crímenes cometidos por el comercio transatlántico de esclavos en su contra.
Seguiremos denunciando toda forma de agresiones y medidas coercitivas unilaterales en contra de los sueños de paz y bienestar de nuestros pueblos y gobiernos, en especial en Venezuela, Cuba y Nicaragua.
Y en el contexto mundial actual rechazamos las medidas restrictivas al comercio internacional por medio de la imposición antojadiza de aranceles.
Llamamos a nuestra CELAC, a convocarnos a Sesión Urgente y Permanente, para analizar las gravísimas consecuencias de las Políticas Arancelarias decretadas por los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica contra el Mundo, y a acordar acciones y medidas comunes para enfrentar sus consecuencias, privilegiando los Derechos de nuestros Pueblos, y en particular las Luchas contra la Pobreza, y por una Existencia Digna y con Bienestar.
Reiteramos nuestro compromiso con la próxima reunión China-CELAC en mayo próximo, como unimportante espacio de solidaridad y cooperación, bajo el liderazgo de China.
Por eso es que nuestra delegación expresa con toda responsabilidad, que estos principios básicos deben ser retomados. Esta es la realidad que vive el mundo, esa es la realidad que vive la región.
Llamamos a los que deseen adherirse a estas posiciones que lo haga, conscientes que tenemos la responsabilidad de decirle al mundo que estos son los temas que fueron discutidos por la CELAC y que cuentan con una amplia coincidencia ennuestra región.

MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NICARAGUA AT THE MEETING OF MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE COMMUNITY OF LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN STATES (CELAC)

Brothers and Sisters, Ministers and Heads of Delegation.
Allow me to convey the Fraternal Greetings and Affection of Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Comrade Rosario Murillo Zambrana, Co-Presidents of the Republic of Nicaragua, as well as of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity.
We thank the Sister Republic of Honduras for its work and leadership in CELAC this year.
CELAC has come a long way, seeking to build a vision of unity, of understanding, of being a space that addresses with courage and dignity, the pressing issues affecting our peoples.
We remember that CELAC has basic principles, built over the years. Fundamental principles on which the region has been building agreements.
We have witnessed the steadfast efforts of the PPT in trying to accommodate and harmonize the forms, as if this was a problem of form, when it is a problem of political positions.
Therefore, we want to make our positions clear:
Nicaragua continues to demand respect for the sovereign equality of states, the right to self-determination, territorial integrity, and non-intervention in the internal affairs of each country.
We reaffirm our commitment to defending sovereignty and the right of every state to define its institutional and regulatory framework, free from threats, aggressions and unilateral coercive measures.
We express our unwavering and rising solidarity with the Brotherly Bolivarian People and Government of Venezuela, who are suffering the onslaught of imperialism’s cruel, constant and inhumane aggressions, including the unilateral coercive measures, which have recently become more frequent and evident, against this brave people.
We coincide with the legitimate demand of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela for the safe
return of our migrant Venezuelan Brothers and Sisters. We express our solidarity with the families of all the kidnapped and imprisoned migrant Brothers and Sisters, who have been denied of all their rights, and we demand their immediate return to Venezuela.
We strongly condemn the criminalization of our migrant Brothers and Sisters, as well as the undignified and shameful treatment they are receiving.
We reiterate our demand for an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Sister Republic of Cuba and our rejection of unilateral lists and certifications, or their inclusion in the lists of alleged sponsors of terrorism.
From CELAC, we must recognize and express our unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian People and their inalienable right to a free and sovereign state. In recent months, this expression of solidarity has become even more urgent given the ongoing genocide against them.
We continue to express our recognition of the genuine demand of our Caribbean Peoples for reparations for the horrendous crimes committed against them by the transatlantic slave trade.
We will continue to denounce all forms of aggressions and unilateral coercive measures against the dreams of peace and well-being of our peoples and governments, especially in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.
And in the current global context, we reject the restrictive measures on international trade through the arbitrary imposition of tariffs.
We call on our CELAC to convene an Urgent and Permanent Session to analyze the extremely serious consequences of the tariff policies decreed by the United States of America against the World, and to agree on common actions and measures to address its consequences, prioritizing the Rights of our Peoples, and in particular the Struggle against Poverty, and for an Existence with Dignity and Well-being.
We reiterate our commitment to the upcoming China-CELAC meeting in May, as an important forum for solidarity and cooperation, under China’s leadership.
That is why our delegation expresses with full responsibility that these basic principles must be reaffirmed. This is the reality the world is experiencing, this is the reality the region is experiencing.
We urge those who wish to adhere to these positions to do so, aware of our responsibility to tell the world that these are the issues that were discussed by CELAC and that there is broad agreement in our region.
